Scan with a gun, a camera or the keyboard
The invoice screen has a Scan button for sales and purchases. A USB or Bluetooth scanner gun types the code like a keyboard, the browser camera reads it directly, and you can always type or paste a code and press Enter.
NIRU looks the barcode up in your product master and adds the product to the invoice with its rate and GST slab. Scanning the same product again adds one to the quantity instead of repeating the line, so a counter operator can scan a full basket quickly.

GST worked out on every line
Each product carries a GST slab. The invoice calculates CGST and SGST for in-state supply, or IGST where the supply mode needs it, along with expenses and the supply modes NIRU supports. The totals you see while billing are the totals that post to the ledger.
Collect payment as you save
Choose Cash, Bank or UPI on the invoice, pick the account, and NIRU saves the invoice and its receipt voucher in one transaction. Retrying a save does not create a duplicate voucher. This settles the full outstanding amount with one mode; for several modes, record a receipt for each against the invoice.
The Finance payment mode is shown as coming soon and cannot be used yet.
Print, share and file
Invoices can be printed or exported to PDF and shared by email or WhatsApp. GST summary, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and e-invoice reports are available from the same books.
Mobile billing, honestly described
NIRU is a web application. On a phone you can open the same invoice screen in the browser and scan with the camera, provided the site is served over HTTPS. There is no native Android or iOS app.

- Yes. Scanner guns that type the code and press Enter work on the invoice screen, alongside camera scanning and manual entry.
- Can I bill from my phone?
- You can open NIRU in a phone browser and scan with the camera over HTTPS. NIRU does not have a native mobile app.
- Is CGST/SGST and IGST handled?
