Keep customer purchases, product warranties and service information organised in one place, from the first sale to every later visit.
Warranty starts at the sale
Set a warranty period on the product. When you sell it, the invoice line carries the warranty days and an optional serial number, and NIRU saves a product record for that customer with the purchase date and the warranty end date (invoice date plus warranty days).
- Customer-wise product records
- Serial number and sale invoice on each record
- Warranty days, end date and Active or Expired status
Service visits join the history
Switch a sales invoice to Service mode, choose the customer’s machine, and record the complaint and work notes. The visit is saved as a service invoice linked to that machine, and it appears in the customer’s service history together with earlier visits. Service charges are ordinary invoice lines.
One customer, one clear record
The customer’s service history lists each product they own with its serial number, sale invoice, warranty status, number of visits and most recent visit, with every visit listed underneath.
Records are created for sold items that carry a serial number or warranty, so products you do not track are not cluttered with empty records.
What NIRU does not do today
NIRU does not assign technicians, run a repair-status workflow, or send warranty-expiry reminders, and it does not keep serial-level stock. The website shows an “Expiring soon” state only as a labelled preview.

Questions
- How is the warranty end date calculated?

- Can I see a customer’s service history?
- Yes. Open the customer’s service history to see their products, warranty status, and every service visit.
- Does NIRU assign technicians to repairs?
- No. Service visits are recorded as service invoices with a complaint and notes; technician assignment and repair-status tracking are not available.
